Hi!

If you've stumbled across this page, you're probably wondering what the point of it is. Well, basically, I'm aiming to watch every anime released between Janurary 1st, 2000, and December 31st, 2009. This is a pretty huge undertaking, but it's something I've wanted to do for a long, long time. everything I've watched from this decade has at least been interesting, even if it's not that good of a show. the 90s were similarly interesting, but it comes down to preference. I love the whole aesthetic of the 2000s in general. we see some of the best cel animation put to tv in the final years of its mainstream use, and the transition to digipaint brought on a lot of new and interesting styles, though obviously there were some growing pains. a lot of romance anime of the early to mid 00s did try to look as close to Itaru Hinoue's artstyle used for Key's Kanon/AIR/Clannad Visual Novels. some do it well, and others are School Days, but we'll get to that when we get to that.

Anyway, I've very excited to start this project. I'll be reviewing every anime of the decade, (yes, even the Hentai and music videos and previews etc,) but first, I gotta finish making this site work, lol.

While the site is still under construction and is still really messy, I'll link my first review here: It's for Patlabor 3, I put a lot of effort into this one.
